The Manchester Parish Council will be hosting a series of meetings to stimulate dialogue around creating an enabling environment for formalization of businesses in Manchester. Persons in business will be engaged in meaningful discussions to highlight barriers which exist, and identifying solutions that can be implemented to remove these barriers.
These conversations will result in the implementation of processes that fosters Ease of Doing Business an dcontribute to an improved ecomomic situation for citizens.
It should also provide information to government on citizen's concerns to inform democratic practices in economic governance. This should ultimately result in the birth of new businesses and stimulate economic development.
These series of meetings are made possible through funding from the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives.
