Mayor of Mandeville Brenda Ramsay is urging that simple language be used in the discussion of the climate change phenomenon.That way, she says, everyone, including farmers, will better understand the effects of changing climatic patterns and the differences that people can make.
Speaking at a function in Mandeville to distribute water storage tanks to farmers, as part of drought relief, Ramsay said many people thought climate change was a future risk rather than an ongoing occurrence.
