The Manchester Infirmary was a buzz of activity recently when volunteers from bauxite/alumina company, Jamalco and the South Manchester Community Council gathered at the institution for the start of transformational work.With rolled up sleeves, paint brushes and combs in hand, the volunteers begun the makeover of the facility and its residents by painting the administrative building and grooming the occupants.
