The Manchester Parish Council has now made it easier for the citizens of the parish to become tax compliant with the provision of a payment outlet at the Council for property taxes. Residents, shareholders and/or individuals who have vested interest in a particular property (you can share interest in a property without living on or developing the property) are reminded that property taxes for the year 2014-2015 are due. Property Taxes are used for the repairing of street lights, the maintainence of public stand pipes and funds the collection of garbage among other things. The Council will facilitate payment during the regular working hours, i.e. 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m from Monday to Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 pm on Friday. Persons who cannot afford to make a full payment at the immediate time can always schedule a payment plan at the local Tax Administration Office.
