On Thursday July 7, 2016, the Manchester Parish Council's Parish Disaster, Planning and Management Committee, which included government agencies, participated in an in-house Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) Tabletop simulation exercise conducted by Mrs. Camille Beckford-Palmer, Regional Coordinator in the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM).
The training was conducted to highlight the preparedness of the Council and other key response agencies in dealing with natural disasters and other emergency.
